Tuesday’s coffee is from a new Louisville joint called Please and Thank You.
Dark, salvage wood interior and cool diner mugs- our kind of place. With a pretty good cup of french press coffee (although we are partial to our chemex/pour over coffee)
Mmmm. The famous ‘Hot Brown’ sandwich. Turkey, bacon, tomato, gravy and Parmesan on Texas Toast. The signature sandwich of our the historic Brown Hotel in downtown Louisville.
Good Toasty July Morning from Louisville, KY!
Yesterday we had our morning coffee from Quills- a great place with good interior design and pretty amazing coffee! It was a fantastic way to begin our day of Bourbon Distillery tours! We toured Four Roses and Heaven Hill this time around!
Good morning from St. Croix Falls, WI! I’m here designing costumes for a production of Man of La Mancha for Festival Theatre and I stumbled onto this coffee shop this morning! It’s a good cup of strong, dark coffee worthy of my ClassyBeetle blog!
Wednesday 4/25/2012- Mark and I are taking a mid-week day off (I may try to squeeze in grading a few research papers and a trip to salvation army) and having an adventure. Starting our day off at Red Hook in Ferndale with pour over coffees, double ginger pound cake and rosemary-lemon pear cornbread. A good day.
